• Sen. Obama is ahead in one poll… Sen. McCain is ahead in another… they’re neck and neck in another… explain to me again why we even need campaign polling?
• A new study shows that voters prefer ‘pretty’ female candidates… apparently the polling was done by Noshit Sherlock. Then you read something about Elizabeth Dole and… never mind.
• Director of National Intelligence Mike McConnell told an annual conference of intelligence officials and contractors yesterday that new president's first year in office is the most perilous time for the country. Nothing like a little fear-mongering before Election Day...
• CNN obvious headline of the day; “Concerns remain about voting machines.”
• And have we mentioned? That Palin has gone off-script again? Ten days after the McCain campaign said that they would NOT be able to balance the budget in the first term, Palin told a campaign rally crowd that they would do just that… (If Palin continues to go off-script, thus ignoring the wills of the campaign, can they switch her out before next Tuesday?)
