TBWA rejects labels… except for Ms. Palin
- In response to global markets diving overnight, the Dow Jones industrial average futures fell 548 points this morning that lead to a freeze on sales… (Fasten your seatbelts, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride…)
- Karl Rove is STILL a tool, now trying to blame the current economic crisis on Sen. Obama…
- Per a new CBS News/New York Times poll, 35% of Americans are now “very concerned” that they or someone else in their household will be out of work and looking for a job within the next twelve months, up 12 points from last week. (Again, as above; fasten your seatbelts, it’s gonna be a bumpy ride…)
- As the campaign starts to wind down, the campaigns are making a final push for states that, usually, are not in play this late in the process. One of those is North Carolina…
- Neither Sen. Obama nor Sen. McCain has touched the third rail of Social Security in this campaign, mentioning it in fleeting glances only.
- Former Bush(whacked) Administration press secretary Scott McClellan endorsed Obama yesterday…regardless if it makes an impact or not, it’s still fun to write.
- And have we mentioned? That Gov. Palin is giving her first policy speech today in Pittsburgh? According to the campaign the speech will highlighting her commitment to families with special needs… despite her past record of NOT committing herself to families with special needs. The curious thing about this is that one of her campaign briefs say she’s slated to be in Springfield, Missouri today. Perhaps the campaign has hired a doppelganger…
