- The final debate is tonight between Sen. Obama and Sen. McCain… stay tuned.
- A federal appeals court ruled yesterday that Ohio's secretary of state must establish a system to verify hundreds of thousands of newly registered voters by this Friday. (a lot of people believe that the only way the republicans could win this election would be to steal it ala 2000 - I think we need to be vigilant and McPalin still has a chance to win without stealing it - and this is how they will do it... defranchising voters. Be vigilant...)
- “Time for Palin to answer questions.” NOW??? Shouldn’t you guys in the traditional media have been saying that about Palin weeks ago???
- If this strikes anyone reading this as shocking, you’re probably in the wrong place… Re*S*a*e is thataway. Turns out the Bush(whacked) Administration issued two secret memos to the CIA in 2003 and 2004 that “explicitly endorsed the agency’s use of interrogation techniques such as waterboarding against al-Qaeda suspects.” Director of the CIA George Tenet requested the memos because “senior CIA officials were troubled” that the White House had never endorsed it in writing…
- Sen. McCain truly doesn’t have a clue. In an interview with right-wing radio host Michael Medved last week, McCain agreed when Medved bloviated that the economy was “really progressing pretty well under most of President Bush’s term” and didn’t start swirling the toilet until Democrats took control of Congress in January 2007. (Um… the economy doesn’t fall apart just because a new party becomes the majority in Congress you dimwits… sigh. First of all, I didn’t pay attention to Medved when he was doing movie reviews, why the HELL would I listen to him on politics? Second of all, McCain doesn’t know much about the economy, he’s admitted as much, so why the HELL would I listen to him on the economy?)
- And have we mentioned? That the Sacramento County republican party are a bunch of idiots? Their website, up until yesterday when they took it down, had images that not only compared Sen. Obama to Osama bin Laden, but one that said “Waterboard Barack Obama ”… stay classy Sacramento County republican party… you fucking idiots. Craig MacGlashan, the party’s chairman, said; “Some people find it offensive, others do not. I cannot comment on how people interpret things.” (Everyone should find that offensive. Regardless of how you view Obama’s politics, wishing harm or another human being shows a true lack of intelligence and a stunning)
