- There’s another primary today, in Mississippi…
- New York Governor Eliot Spitzer (D) has admitted being linked to a top-dollar prostitution ring and some pundits are saying this could be the end of his rising-star political career while others say he must resign. (My question is this, we’ve had a president get a blowjob in the Oval Office, we’ve had a (republican) Senator arrested for soliciting gay sex in an airport restroom and another republican visit a DC madam, will this really de-rail Spitzer’s career, or is it all hyperbole? And don’t even get me started on the hypocritical republican calls for him to resign, to them I have two words; Larry. Craig.)
- Sen. Obama has rejected Sen. Clinton’s offer of VP… (interesting isn’t it when the individual in second place offers the second chair to the person in first place… Ms. Clinton, you’re doing it wrong)
- The DOJ has reined-in the amount of control U.S. attorneys have in arranging deals that allow firms to avoid prosecution if they accept corporate monitors and make restitution to victims… which I’m sure has no correlation at all between the fact that former AG John Ashcroft is appearing on Capitol Hill this morning regarding some impropriety on Ashcroft’s part. Impropriety thy name is Bush Administration…
- Sen. McCain needs
womenmoney… - And have we mentioned? That the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis has hired a new attorney? It’s true as the firm has hired former U.S. Ambassador John Bolton to be a “senior adviser.” And the story gets better as Bolton will probably be working alongside Whitewater tool Ken Starr… (Wow, with that much conservative absurdity in one place, won’t the earth spin off its axis?)
