The Thursday ‘BushWhack’ing

Yay…

• Gov. Quayle Palin introduced herself to the nation last night, speaking at the snore-a-palooza. While she does have a way with words, she didn’t say ANYTHING. All style, no substance…
• Democratic VP candidate Joe Biden agrees with me… as do the masses.
• Other things I noticed last night; Rudy Giuliani is still a whining, mean-spirited SOB… the gop is STILL keeping its distance from “President” Bush (mentioned only once last night)… and Mike Huckabee is still a liar…
• CNN headline that begs the question; how does CNN operate: “GOP Lacks Diversity” (No shit Sherlock… if this is news to you, then you need to get out of the news business…). And if you need more proof that CNN is the second most useless network after Fox “News”, there’s this headline “Obama giving some black Republicans ‘heartburn’”. Who writes this stuff???
• The ratings for the rNC are low… very, very low. How long you ask? As low as “President” Bush’s approval ratings… and that’s GOTTA hoit.
• Add Sen. McCain to the list of people saying that Quayle Palin has foreign policy experience because Alaska is right next to Russia… I would blame this on his senility, but his wife and Fox “News” Host Steve Doocy have said the same thing… so I’ll blame rampant stupidity.
• Acknowledging he “did many bad things”, convicted lobbyist Jack Abramoff begged for mercy yesterday. The judge is expected to announce his sentencing today… the same day that the republicans candidate for president makes his acceptance speech… can we say, ‘Karma baby!’…
• And have we mentioned? That erstwhile conservative fruitcake Pat Buchanan is showcasing his flip-flopping skills? Days after calling Quayle Palin too inexperienced to lead, he’s now trumpeting her as being more experienced than Sen. Obama (how exactly he didn’t say…because that would require him to tell us something they don’t know) and declaring any criticism of her as being sexist (give me a friggn’ break). This shouldn’t come as a surprise to anyone… the gop knows it’s damaged goods and are desperately trying to quell any uprisings or more downfalls by swaying the conservative pundits to speak of them in positive terms… making me wonder what the hell they’re being promised?)
