Rather than allow Sen. Obama a national stage to himself (Plan B), Sen. McCain has blinked and WILL attend tonight’s debate.
His campaign's statement; “Senator McCain has spent the morning talking to members of the Administration, members of the Senate, and members of the House. He is optimistic that there has been significant progress toward a bipartisan agreement now that there is a framework for all parties to be represented in negotiations, including Representative Blunt as a designated negotiator for House Republicans. The McCain campaign is resuming all activities and the Senator will travel to the debate this afternoon. Following the debate, he will return to Washington to ensure that all voices and interests are represented in the final agreement, especially those of taxpayers and homeowners.”
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight…me thinks this didn’t quite turn out the way that McCain and his surrogates envisioned.
Ain’t it great?
UPDATE: Apparently McCain has already won tonight's debate… at least that’s what his campaign is saying as there’s already an ad floating around that declares it as such.
Give me a break…

McCain has really shot himself in the foot to say the least with his stunts this week. It is an insult to all Americans, he thinks he can feed us obvious lies and strong-arm us like they did to start the Iraq War. Well our family isn't buying it, he has proven to be completely unstable in his older age. And having Palin right behind him is mortifying, she has proven that she knows nothing about Politics. Not to mention her family sets the poorest example for the other families of this country. Funny how she denied free rape kits to rape victims in her own town but her own daughter gets pregnant. When you have southern born traditionally Republican families such as ours voting for Obama this election...then you have problems. They might as well just shut down their campaign now and donate the money to charity. Or better yet bailout all of their rich friends on Wall Street with it (because my family doesn't want to pay for it and suffer later on)...the very people McCain's tax cuts help (the rich), while the middle class gets crushed. At least Obama's tax plan makes perfect sense.
