So you might be asking yourself what our current Commander in Chief, who will be replaced by one of these two (God-willing Obama) on January 20, 2009, has been up to today.

Apparently… absolutely nothing… which isn’t really a difference between any other time if you really think about it.

With no public appearances scheduled and no face time with McCain or any other republican across the country, Bush is planning to spend his evening in the White House residence, watching TV coverage of election results and hosting a small dinner with Laura, who is celebrating her birthday today.

How devastating to Bush is it that he has NO appearances scheduled for today with any candidates?Usually a sitting president, even a lame-duck, has coveted slots open to push their party’s candidates across the candidate, but it seems Bush doesn’t have any of those…
