Is it me....

or did the election seem like it was over too quick?

Here I was set to stay up until the wee hours of the morning watching results, evaluate the returns and get a feel of exactly when the results would indicate that a winner would be declared.

I remember many elections where you would go to sleep with returns slowly coming in and you wouldn't know who the next President was going to be until you woke up the next morning.

It was a landslide, and like a landslide it seemed to happen very quick.

Election Night did seem to go by too quick as I was also ready for a late night... but it just wasn't meant to be as, minutes after the clock struck 10 PM here in Chicago-land, the race was called by all the news outlets.

And just like that... {poof}... it was over.

A landslide for the ages...

A President for the future...
