One more day closer to the Friday...
- A new CNN/Opinion Research Corp. poll shows that Clinton, Obama and Edwards are in a statistical dead-heat in Iowa… (hmmm, almost seems as though Edwards snuck in as Clinton and Obama slung mud at each other, did anyone see that coming? Oh wait, I did!…)
- republican candidate Rudy Giuliani has been released from a St. Louis-area hospital this morning. He was admitted last night after suffering “flu-like systems” on his way back to New York last night. (Because of the situation, I will forgo any smart-ass comments about 9/11 or mistresses or Bernie Kerik…)
- Tom Tancredo has given up his republican presidential campaign… (Wait, I thought he already had…)
- Former Democrat Rep. Cynthia McKinney has announced her plans to run for the presidency on the Green Party ticket… (I’ll would forgo any snark about this, lest I get slapped…but I can’t let this go. Give. Me. A. ‘Effin. Break. She got voted out of office because the people who originally supported her didn’t anymore and wanted change, does she really think she can get into the White House?? Or is this an attempt to sabotage the Democrats. Quick, someone look to see if Karl Rove is on her payroll…)
- And have we mentioned? That the EPA hates the planet? Ok, that might be too harsh, but the EPA denied an attempt by California to instill first-in-the-nation greenhouse gas limits on cars, trucks and SUVs. Whatever happened to republicans belief that the Federal government shouldn’t interfere with things on the state level? Oh wait, that’s only when it benefits them or one of their cronies…
