Another day closer to TGIF… woot!
- The republicans had their final debate before next month’s Iowa caucus. As per the norm, they were evasive, pushy, and inane… in other words; conservatives. And why the hell was Alan Keyes there??? His campaign is less relevant than
Fred ThompsonMike HuckabeeTom Tancredo’s… - The Democrats go tonight…
- Four years ago today members of the 4th Infantry Division's 1st Brigade found Saddam Hussein. We’re still waiting for the impact of his capture to show up in Iraq…
- The inspector-general of the House of Representatives will launch an investigation into recent allegations of sexual misconduct among congressional pages. All fine and good, but do they really think this is the first time this has ever happened. You put teenage boys and girls alone together with little or no chaperoning; things will happen.
- “President’ Bush vetoed SCHIP again… I would say more, but what more could be said??
Dem leaders in the Senate are anticipating a very close vote today on a new energy bill that would push the US in a new direction by creating a greater reliance on non-fossil fuels.(As with anything in this current political climate; I’ll believe it when I see it…) - And have we mentioned? That just when you think that House Democrats are growing a pair, they roll over for the current administration again? This time they rolled-over for Bush’s demands in the House spending bill because… well, because they have no guts… no balls… and apparently no backbone. To which I say; give me a fucking break guys. He’s a lame-duck president; treat him like one and stop giving him everything he asks for!!!!
