- And then there were 203… Rep. Tom Tancredo (r-CO) has officially abandoned his snowballs-chance-in-hell bid for the gop presidential nomination yesterday. (If a candidate’s campaign falls in the woods and no reporter is around to note it, does it make a sound?)
- The Iowa caucus is less than 2 weeks away and Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama and John Edwards are in a statistical dead-heat… (As I’ve said before, Obama and Clinton were so enthralled with attacking each other, they forgot about Edwards and allowed him to become competitive… stay tuned)
- Every gop presidential candidate is pushing for an endorsement from South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford and hoping that the endorsement would push them to victory in that state’s primary…(Once again they’re putting WAY too much stock into endorsements…)
- Ron Paul is keeping an endorsement from a white supremacist… (told you he was crazy as a fucking loon…)
- gop candidate Mitt Romney has quickly become one of Bush’s biggest defenders this past week… not sure why.
- After spending time in a St. Louis area hospital, Rudy Giuliani is back in New York City… 9/11…
- Former Democratic Rep. Cynthia McKinney is running for president… I would say more, but I don’t want to get slapped…
- The in-fighting continues on the gop side as Mike Huckabee and Mitt Romney have ratcheted up their Iowa battle with each other. It’s Huckabee’s turn as he labeled Romney's attacks on his crime record as "desperate" and "dishonest.” (Wow, never thought I would see a politician described as ‘desperate’ or ‘dishonest’… it’s so hard to express sarcasm in the written form…)
- Hillary Clinton is going to show her softer side… ewwww…
