No Daily 'BushWhack'ing, no snark*, no criticism... only a wish for all of you to have a happy and safe 4th of July!!!* If we were handing out snark, we could possibly mention that the Democrats had the fundraising edge last quarter... or that the Democratic presidential candidates are invading Iowa... or that Bush is inexplicably NOT ruling out a full pardon for Scooter... and from ThinkProgress, here's something to gnaw on... close to 88.7% of Americans will partake in some kind of July 4th festivities today, will spend “more than $275 million on hamburgers and hot dogs,", while 61% will be waving American flags, 28% have Independence Day decorations (my wife probably accounts for 90% of those) and 45% have July Fourth garb "in their closets."
