What's the difference? Part 2

Newsflash....

Iran has announced that they have enriched uranium. But, according to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, it's ok as it was done for 'peaceful purposes.'

White House spokesman Scott "Scooter" McClellan told reporters that Iran is "moving in the wrong direction" and if it continues, the United States will consult with other allies about how to respond (yeah, sure, just like they did with Iraq).

Relax, remember yesterday 'Scooters' boss, Dubya, said that the watch word for Iran was Diplomacy.

You may go back to building your bomb shelters...

You seem to forget that the limp wrist organisation called the Useless Nations..uh United Nations..has officially condemned Iran for its program, and Iran is playing the same games that Hussein played.

Maybe after 43 resolutions the Useless Nations will finally do something, since that seems to be the cutoff for the United States on the number of times a nation who is a member has to pressured to do something.

Meanwhile, Iran will have full nuclear capability and will be a major world threat.

I am sure Kofi Annan will find a way to profit from Iran...not to worry.

Kofi Anan probably already is profiting from it.

However, the inability of UN to do anything beyond condemnation indicate that either a massive reform effort needs to take place now or it needs to go the way of the League of Nations.
