Since every time I try to put a new post up Blogger decides to delete, I thought I would instead throw up a few op-eds, diaries etc that we should all be reading.
- Two from Daily Kos: dday writes about Iraq in Mind-Blowing Personal Tale of the Horrors of Baghdad that describes the climate of constant fear and violence for Iraqi citizens. Lying eyes has a chilling tale of children arming themselves in order to fight the US entitled: Children Join The Battle of Baghdad.
- Read Molly Ivins’ latest column; “President puts the bully in bully pulpit”. Comes via The Chicago Tribune.
- WaPo columnist David Broder is slowly… losing… his… mind. As can be seen in his column: “Independence Days”
- CNN’s Lou Dobbs says that voting machines are putting Democracy at risk.
- William Schneider writes in The Atlantic Monthly that “the Bush administration's efforts to link Iraq with the war on terrorism could backfire”
Take a gander and contemplate… we’ll see you back here tomorrow for The Weekly Rewind.
And coming Saturday… a special post to mark the one-year anniversary of The BushWhacked Administration… so stay tuned.
