Two weeks? Try two days! The Throwing Sarah Palin Under the Bus Story: Part II-B

Just when you thought the Sarah Palin affair was done… something else pops up…

You remember that (largely unauthorized) spending spree that Palin embarked on shortly after coming aboard the campaign?

Well… turns out that she announced in the past that she would no longer be wearing the expensive clothing and was “not taking them with me.”

Funny thing… the clothes have disappeared and it seems that a few items did make it back to Alaska with her.

Now the gop’s attorneys are on their way to reclaim them.

On to be a fly on the wall for that conversation…

Slander... Really?

Some would think that, eventually, someone who has been a republican tool his entire life would top out somewhere, right? Hit the ceiling and cease going higher and higher with his buffoonery and tool-ish behavior…

You’d be wrong.

Case in point: former House Speaker Newt Gingrich.

Speaking on F*x “News” last night, the erstwhile tool claimed that the skits mocking Gov. Palin on SNL were “vicious” and a “total distortion of who Governor Palin is.”

But it gets better… Gingrich then said that one particular skit that mocks reporters for pursuing unsubstantiated claims about the Palin clan were “slander and were worthy of a lawsuit.”

Sigh.

Note to Newt; SNL is a comedy show (such as it is)… it’s satirical… it’s lampooning… it’s farcical...you know, like your political career.

And, if I’m not mistaken, Ms. Palin appeared on the show last weekend; wouldn’t that be an endorsement of the alleged slander? For God’s sakes… she sat at the Weekend Update desk, dancing and raising the roof while Amy Poehler rapped about shooting a moose…

And you have the gall stupidity to come out and accuse SNL of slander?? It’s not slander when they’re using Palin’s own words.

I’m just sayin’…

Bus. Ted.

Wow, who would have ever guessed…

Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin abused her power as Alaska's governor by trying to get her ex-brother-in-law fired from the state police, a state investigator's report concluded Friday. […] "Gov. Palin knowingly permitted a situation to continue where impermissible pressure was placed on several subordinates in order to advance a personal agenda," the report states.
Delicious!
