UPDATE: The Chicago Tribune’s political blog, ‘The Swamp’ reports that “President” Bush will not intervene in the Scooter Libby verdict… though I sincerely have my doubts about that…
UPDATE 2: In a new statement on Scooter’s sentencing, Vice President Dick “President” Cheney says that he is “deeply saddened by this tragedy.” The statement went on to say; “Speaking as friends, we hope that our system will return a final result consistent with what we know of this fine man.” (Wow… this almost makes Cheney look.. I dunno… like a person…)
