The Monday ‘BushWhack’ing

One more shopping day left…

• The Concord Monitor published an editorial that says republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney must be stopped… wow, nice and succinct, huh? Don’t hide your feeling editorial staff, how do you really feel?
• Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama was asked about his “Muslim background” by a potential voter this past Saturday. Rather than pout and whine, like a few of his competitors would have done, he used the encounter as a chance to set the record straight… (wow, poise and maturity from a presidential candidate – who would have thunk it?)
• CNN Headline; “With one year to go, Bush’s legacy a mixed bag” (Really?? A mixed bag?? Seriously??)
• Despite having a plane turned around in mid-air, being rushed to a hospital, being held overnight for tests and such, and then being released, Rudy Giuliani says his health is fine… (Um Rudy, I would have waited a few days to say that… just a thought)
• And have we mentioned? That Gen. David Petraeus has put the kibosh on any chance of him running for CIC? … starting back in September, right-wing pundits started pushing for a Gen. Petraeus presidential run. Well, this past weekend on – wait for it – Fox “News”, he said he wouldn’t run for president… (I think I speak for a LOT of people when I say; Thank God!)
